Part of the Gateway to Employment series; the thought of an interview makes people feel somewhat uneasy and apprehensive. If the interview happens to be scheduled within the next few days, it could produce physiological signs of nervous apprehension, tummy butterflies, a dry mouth or moist palms.
Indeed, many of us become nervous at the prospect of an interview simply because we realize how important it is to our future. Whether we're a job applicant or meeting with our superiors for an annual performance review, we know our future may be potentially on the line.
