Community Tree Decorating
This holiday season, we invite all members of the USAG Ansbach community to come together and share the spirit of the season by contributing to our Community Tree! From December 1st to December 24th, we encourage everyone to bring a homemade or handcrafted ornament to hang on the Community Tree located INSIDE the Katterbach Fitness Center.
Whether it’s a handcrafted ornament, a family keepsake, or a creative design that represents your unique holiday traditions, your contribution will help make the tree a beautiful symbol of our shared community spirit. Encouraged are unit identity ornaments, but also traditional decorations.
Let’s celebrate the season by creating something special together. Stop by the Katterbach Fitness Center, hang your ornament, and enjoy the joy of the holidays with your fellow community members.
A great opportunity to hang your ornament will be on December 5th at the Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony! The event begins at 5 P.M. Be sure to dress warm!

NOTE: If you wish to retain your ornament or keepsake at the end of the Holiday season, please make sure to come back to the Katterbach Fitness Center no later than Friday January 5th and claim yours.

USAG Ansbach Community Tree Decoration Rules
1. Decorations: Please bring a homemade or handcrafted ornament to hang on the tree. Encouraged are unit identity ornaments, but also traditional decorations.
2. Family-Friendly Designs: All ornaments must be appropriate for all ages and reflect the values of the USAG Ansbach community. Avoid decorations with offensive, political, or controversial themes.
3. Size and Weight Limit: Ornaments should be reasonably sized and lightweight to ensure they can be safely hung on the tree without causing damage.
4. No Perishable Items: Decorations should not include food, liquids, or other perishable materials to avoid spoilage or attracting pests.
5. Secure Hanging Mechanism: Ensure your ornament has a sturdy hook, string, or ribbon for easy hanging on the tree.
6. Respect Others’ Contributions: Do not remove, alter, or damage ornaments placed by other community members.
7. Drop-Off Times: Ornaments can be hung on the tree during the Katterbach Fitness Center’s staffed operating hours from December 1st to December 24th.
8. No Solicitation: Decorations should not include advertisements, business promotions, or solicitation messages.
9. Community Spirit: The event is meant to foster joy and togetherness. Please participate with kindness and respect for all.
10. Removal of Ornaments: After January 1st, ornaments will be taken down. If you would like to keep your ornament, please retrieve it by Friday, January 5th.
Cost
There is no cost to hang your Community Tree decoration!
Registration Information
No pre-registration is required. Simply inquire with fitness center staff during normal staffed hours of operation to assist in hanging your decoration.
