Breastfeeding Basics

This class with provide you with information on the benefits of breastfeeding.  Also included is positioning and latching infant, milk production, and pumping and storage of milk.  You will also learn how to know if your infant is taking in enough milk, feeding cues and how to know if feeding is going well.  We will also discuss common challenges with breastfeeding, your partner’s role, and resources and support available in our community.  Your second trimester of pregnancy is a good time to attend.
