In an effort to keep our community engaged in fitness while at home, the Katterbach Fitness Center presents "The Virtual Burpee Challenge."
How does the challenge the works?
Who can perform the most burpees continuously for the period of two (2) minutes?
Cost
No Cost. The Burpee Challenge is open to all USAG Ansbach Community Members.
Registration Information
No registration is required, however, to participate in the burpee challenge, participants MUST be assigned to USAG Ansbach.
The rules are as follows:
- Your performance must be video recorded
- A time clock (timer) must be visible in the video showing the duration of your performance
- You must maintain proper form for the duration of the exercise. 1 repetition =
1. Begin in a standing position
2. Move into a squat position with your hands on the ground
3. Kick your feet back into a plank position, while keeping your arms extended
4. Triceps push up at the bottom, where the chest and thighs touch the floor
5. Immediately return your feet into squat position
6. Stand up from the squat position
7. Jump
- The person with the highest number of repetitions in 2-minutes wins
Results must be uploaded in the comment section of the Katterbach Fitness Center Facebook Event by 5pm on Friday, 03 April to enter the contest. The prize for the winner of this contest will be (3) Fitness Class Passes! Have fun and good luck!
