- A valid FMWR-issued permit must be clearly displayed on the vehicle dashboard.
- Permits are free and must be renewed every 30 days.
- Only private vehicle sales are allowed—commercial operations are prohibited.
- The Lemon Lot is not to be used for long-term vehicle storage.
- Vehicles without a valid permit will be towed at the owner’s expense. Vehicles must have at least 60 days remaining on registration and insurance.
- Use of the Lemon Lot is a privilege. Violations can lead to permit termination, vehicle removal, and chain of command notification.
- Only the permitted vehicle may occupy the assigned space. Unauthorized vehicles will be removed.
- FMWR is not responsible for loss or damage to vehicles in the lot.
- Sellers must notify FMWR Ansbach Outdoor Recreation (ODR) when the vehicle is sold and the space becomes available.

The Lemon Lot is designed to simplify the process of buying and selling used vehicles within the military community. It also supports smoother in- and out-processing by providing a centralized location for vehicles listed for sale, while helping reduce the number of abandoned vehicles.
Lemon Lot Rules:
Owners must ensure vehicles are registered and insured for the duration of the permit.
