CYS and ACS Month of Military Child, Autism Awareness and Child Abuse Prevention Month Kick-Off
CYS and ACS will celebrate with our enrolled children and youth.
April is Month of the Military Child. This is a time to honor the strengths and sacrifices made by our military children. The month underscores the importance of military children play in our armed forces community.
April is Child Abuse & Neglect Prevention Month. The Pinwheel is the national symbol of Child Abuse Prevention. FAP’s mission is to promote awareness during the month. One of the ways this will be accomplished is by planting blue pinwheel garden at the CDC/ACS.
April is Autism Awareness Month –The Exceptional Family Member Program works to promote awareness, inclusion & self-determination for all. The key mission of this campaign effort is to ensure our community members living with Autism have the highest possible quality of life.
