Note: This event has already passed.

The Emergency Placement Care (EPC) Program provides 24-hour care for at risk children in an EPC certified home when it has been determined that the child/children cannot be safely cared for by their legal parents or guardians. Commonly referred to as “foster care” in the United States, this program is specifically to assist Military connected children with having a place to stay with eligible DoD ID Cardholders that keeps them connected to their schools, child care facilities, and other benefits and programs. This care is short-term and generally will not exceed 90 days. Join the Army Community Service (ACS), Family Advocacy Program (FAP), for this one-hour orientation to learn more about the Emergency Placement Care (EPC) Program, what is involved in the application process, and discuss the next steps on how to become a volunteer provider family.

This orientation is open to those volunteers who desire to open their hearts and home to a child in need. Pre-registration is required. Contact ACS at +49-611-143-587-2121 or DSN 587-2121, or send us an email at usarmy.ansbach.id-europe.list.mwr-acs@army.mil to sign up.
