The Emergency Placement Care (EPC) Program provides 24-hour care for at risk children in an EPC certified home when it has been determined that the child/children cannot be safely cared for by their natural parents or legal guardians. The EPC Program provides short-term care generally not to exceed 90 days until the situation warranting the placement is resolved. This one hour orientation reviews general information abour the program for potential provider families who desire to open their hearts and home to a child in need.
