Pickleball Playing Opportunities and Tournament

Pickleball Club Forming: The USAG Ansbach Pickle Ball Club is forming. Come and be part of this great fast growing sport within the community. Pickleball sporting program is new in the community and picking up steam. It is a paddle sport played using a special performance ball on a 20-foot-by 44 foot court with tennis-type net. Further, Pickle ball is an internationally sanctioned sports by International Federation of Pickleball (IFP).

Pickleball Playing Opportunities:

There will be Pickleball playing opportunities on the following days:

-          Tuesday, 8 DEC – 29 DEC from 1730-1930

-          Sundays, 6 DEC – 27 DEC from 1400-1700

The playing opportunity times will provide participants with basic knowledge about the pickleball game. Additionally, participants will gain more knowledge about the rules and lastly prepare the participants for the future planned league play and tournaments.

Eligibility:  All U.S. ID Card holders are welcome to participate to include youth (10-17 years old), and adults.

What: Pickleball Playing Opportunities

When: Tuesdays (1730-1900) starting 8 DEC and Sundays (1400-1700) – starting 6 DEC

Where: Katterbach Fitness Center, Bldg. 9033

Who: All U.S. ID Cardholders from 12-17 Youth and adults. Participation is at “No Cost.”

Equipment: Participants with their own equipment are encouraged to bring them. For those without, the Fitness Center will provide some in the nearest future.
