SIX: The Musical Auditions at the Terrace Playhouse

Divorced, beheaded, died, divorced, beheaded, survived. From Tudor Queens to Pop Icons, the SIX wives of Henry VIII take the mic to remix five hundred years of heartbreak into a high‑energy celebration of 21st‑century girl power. This global musical sensation brings bold vocals, sharp humor, and electrifying choreography to the stage, and now the Terrace Playhouse is assembling its royal court. Youth performers in grades 8–12 are invited to audition for this dynamic production and step into the spotlight as one of the iconic queens.

Audition Dates

12 & 13 August at 6:30 p.m. Sadowski Theatre, Bismarck Kaserne

What You Need to Prepare

Please prepare 60–90 seconds of a lyric‑appropriate pop song to perform. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes suitable for movement. Remaining audition materials will be provided on site. No experience is necessary, just a desire to have fun.

Rehearsal Commitment

If you are cast, you must be able to perform in each show. Due to the small cast size, full availability is required. Rehearsals begin 18 August and run: Tuesdays and Thursdays: 6:30–8:30 p.m. Sundays: 3–5 p.m. Additional rehearsals and extended times may be required as showdates approach.

Anne Boleyn Fun‑loving, dramatic, and always ready for chaos. Vocal Range: Alto C4–E5

Jane Seymour Kind, sincere, and full of heartfelt emotion. Vocal Range: Mezzo Soprano A3–D5

Anna of Cleves Savvy, joyful, and living her best life. Vocal Range: Alto/Mezzo G3–B4

Katherine Howard Smart, witty, and far more complex than her reputation. Vocal Range: Mezzo Soprano A3–F#5

Catherine Parr Grounded, warm, and a champion of empowerment. Vocal Range: Mezzo Soprano A3–E5
