Looking for an indoor sport? Be part of the USAG Ansbach Family and MWR Sports Unit Basketball League.
Open to participants 18 years and older, out of high school, and assigned to USAG Ansbach (U.S. ID cardholders).
Sports Official's Clinic: Free clinic to certify officials and scorebook keepers from October 25th, 26th & 30th from 6 - 9 p.m. at Von Steuben Community Center, Bismarck Kaserne. Clinic is open to all aspiring participants.
Pre-season Basketball Tournament: This will take place on Saturday, October 27th at Katterbach Fitness Center from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. A minimum of 3 teams are needed to host the tournament. A maximum of 6 teams can participate. Forms will be availble at Katterbach Fitness Center no later than Sunday, September 30th.
Coach's Meeting: 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 1st at Katterbach Fitness Center.
Cost
No cost to participate.
Registration Information
Unit teams must submit letter of intent (LOI) to participate in the league.
Letter of Intent will be available at Katterbach Fitness Center no later than Sunday, September 30th.
Letter of Intent must be returned no later than Monday, October 15th.
The following are required to participate:
- AAA-162 - Must be returned no later than Monday, October 15th. (Signed by the Unit Commander)
- Team Roster. Must be typed. Due at the Coach's meeting, Thursday, November 1st.
