The USAG Ansbach Family and MWR Sports Branch will organize the unit level softball league May 21 to July 30. Games will be played at Katterbach Adult Softball Field on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5:30 - 7:30 p.m.
The league is open to all U.S. cardholders assigned to Ansbach, 18 years and older and out of high school. Civilians may participate either as a “Recreational” team or as part of the unit team. A recreational team or unit team with civilians may not advance past “Post Season and the IMCOM-E Championship level.
Sports Official’s Clinic:
There will be a sports official’s softball clinic on Saturday, May 18 at Von Steuben Community Center (Bismarck Kaserne, Bldg. 5845) starting from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.. The clinic is aimed at certifying softball officials for the local league games. Clinic is open to all U.S. cardholders 18 years and older to include Local Nationals assigned to Ansbach.
Coach’s meeting will be held on Monday, May 20 at 5:30 p.m. at Katterbach Fitness Center.
The 2024 IMCOM-E Unit Level Softball Championship will be Aug. 16-18 at USAG Bavaria.

Registration Information
Unit teams wishing to take part in the league should pick up the letters of intent at Katterbach Fitness Center. They are due back by May 17.

The Katterbach Fitness Center is available for 24/7 access to all USAG Ansbach authorized users who have registered for after-hours access. Please stop by the Fitness Center during our normal staffed hours of operation to complete the registration process. Due to energy conservation measures, we have reduced the operating hours of our sauna which is now available by request. Please see Fitness Center personnel for assistance.
