The USAG Ansbach Family and MWR Sports Branch will organize the unit level volleyball league Feb. 29 to April 16. Games will be played at Katterbach Fitness Center, Bldg. 9033) on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6 - 8 p.m.
The league is open to all U.S. Cardholders assigned to Ansbach, 18 years and older and out of high school. Civilians may participate either as a “recreational” team or as part of the unit team. A recreational team or unit team with civilians cannot advance past “Post Season and the IMCOM-E Championship level.
Sports Official’s Clinic:
There will be a sports official’s volleyball clinic on Saturday, Feb. 17 at Von Steuben (Bismarck Kaserne, Bldg. 5845) starting from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.. The clinic is aimed at certifying volleyball officials for the local league games. Clinic is open to all U.S. cardholders 18 years and older to include Local Nationals assigned to Ansbach.
Coach’s meeting will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 28 at 5:30 p.m. at the Katterbach Fitness Center.
The Varsity Invitational Volleyball Tournament will be at USAG Ansbach from April 12-14, while the 2024 IMCOM-E Unit Level Volleyball Championship will be from April 26-28 at the same venue.

Unit teams interested in the league should pick up the letters of intent at Katterbach Fitness Center. They are due back by Feb. 26.

The Katterbach Fitness Center is available for 24/7 access to all USAG Ansbach authorized users who have registered for after-hours access. Please stop by the Fitness Center during our normal staffed hours of operation to complete the registration process. Due to energy conservation measures, we have reduced the operating hours of our sauna which is now available by request. Please see Fitness Center personnel for assistance.
