Virtual Fitness Challenges - The Flutter Kicks Challenge

In an effort to keep our community engaged in fitness while at home, the Katterbach Fitness Center presents "The Virtual Flutter Kicks Challenge."

How does this challenge works?

Who can perform flutter kicks continuously for the longest time?

 

Cost

No Cost. The Challenge is open to all USAG Ansbach Community members.

Registration Information

No registration is required, however participants MUST be assigned to USAG Ansbach.

The rules are as follows:

- Your performance must be video recorded

- A time clock (timer) must be visible in the video showing the duration of your performance

- You must maintain proper form for the duration of the exercise: Starting position is lying flat on the back with the feet and head approximately 6 inches (15 cm) off the ground. Hands are under the buttocks to support the lower back. Count one: raise the left leg to a 45-degree angle, keeping the right leg stationary. Count two: raise the right leg off the ground to a 45-degree angle while, at the same time, moving the left leg to the starting position. Repeat this cycle. Legs must be locked, with toes pointing away from the body.

- The person who lasts the longest in a continuous flutter kick movement wins

Results must be uploaded in the comment section of the Katterbach Fitness Center Facebook Event by 5pm on Wednesday, 01 April to enter the contest. The prize for the winner of this contest will be (3) Fitness Class Passes! Have fun and good luck!
