Learn how to setup your USAJOBS profile and start applying for federal jobs with help from our Army Community Service (ACS) Employment Readiness Program!

Are you looking for federal employment opportunities but don’t know where to start? Join our Army Community Service (ACS) Employment Readiness Specialist for an introductory class to help you master the federal job application process. This class will provide an overview of the federal hiring process, to include:  

  • the USAJOBS profile 

  • Search jobs by Series #, job title, or location 

  • Understanding the Computerized Scanning Technique 

  • the various types of federal jobs 

  • how to read job announcements  

  • how to determine if you are qualified for the job 

  • federal hiring eligibility/preference categories 

  • how to respond to a job assessment questionnaire,  

  • how to build your federal resume and/or job application.  

This class is open to all eligible ID Cardholders. *The majority of federal jobs requires proof of U.S. citizenship; however, there are some exceptions.
